Mindfulness Meditation
A wonderful form of self healing which works brilliantly in conjunction with Acupressure or Tai Chi. Here is an invitation to really ‘lean into your history’ from a position of ease -by just lying on the floor and allowing the body to increasingly relax, deepening ones mind/body connection with the ground.. Mindfulness Meditation incorporates a method of deep inner healing and meditation, seemingly simple...just relaxation….but using the breath and the attention, we can begin the process of coming to centre and letting go of fear and judgements. From here, we may build on this initial position... to allow the Sati-work to incorporate some very simple but amazing movements...for mind and body well-being
Massage
This is such a good way to wind down and to rejuvenate. The cares and stresses can just slip away. Sometimes it’s surprising how much pain and tension we can carry around in our body. Although on occasions a massage may be challenging! It can equally well be wonderfully relaxing, I now am able to provide a local mobile massage service-(ladies only).
Tai Chi
This is an ancient Chinese form of gentle but powerful movements which can enhance your well-being and health. I teach Jason Chan’s Infinite Tai Chi. During an initial session basic stances, principles and movements will give you enough of a flavour of the way I teach …(emphasising posture, breath and all round mobility). Interaction and fun are encouraged! I welcome the chance to give talks and also one to one tuition where this is appropriate.
Workshops and Retreats -see the events page for what is currently happening.
Acupressure.....
Two handed touch....gentle but with profound effects. I can give one to one treatments of Taoist pulsation........
In the context of a workshop where there is a small group I can talk you through the first level of partner work (following some time for warm ups and wind downs).
Over the last few years I have been lucky enough to recieve support and guidance in Mindfulness Meditation from Sensei Sonia Moriceau
The Medicine Buddha Retreat at the Orchard this year was where the Buddha represented here was Photographed
